Goodbye Summer

To celebrate the close of summer, adidas invited a select group of creators to document the season as it happened. Each was given a disposable camera in early June with a simple prompt: capture the moments that mattered most, with the understanding that those memories would come to life later. Over the course of the summer, hundreds of unfiltered, real-world moments were captured on film and, in September, that collective body of work became the centerpiece of two culminating experiences on opposite coasts.

In Los Angeles, a private residence in Beverly Hills was transformed into a living gallery where printed and framed photographs filled the space, turning personal moments into a shared visual narrative. Guests, including Halsey, moved through the environment as both subjects and spectators of the summer they helped define. In New York City, a rooftop gallery in DUMBO carried the concept forward, pairing panoramic views with an immersive display of the season’s captured memories. What began as a simple prompt evolved into a multi-month participation loop that transformed fleeting moments into lasting artifacts.
